Amnesia Demo Won't Start

When I try to launch the Amnesia Demo I get an error saying:

Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module <UNKOWN> at 001B:00000000

How can I fix this?

I don't think its my graphics because I can run Starcraft II and COD: Black Ops

And are you using openGL for your graphics?

try using your on board graphics card, and see if that changes anything

I'm afraid you cannot run Amnesia. You have an Intel graphics card that does not support things that the HPL2 engine uses.
