Testing my map

Hello there! I'm new on this forum. I have Amnesia. Because of the scary game i also want to try to make my own.
I'm interested making my own scary maps.
So i have made a simple room with a simple light and furniture objects. and a simple ambience sound.
Now i want to test the map.
I've seen tutorials that you need to script some text files to bring it in your "Custom stories"

My problem is that i can make a TXT file to CFG.
But i can't change them to .LANG file or .HPS

So how to solve this?

Have you done this? When you are your own custom_stories folder do this Press ALT then tools -> Folder Options -> View -> delete that mark "Hide extensions for known file types"

Then you are done and you have hps. files and cfg corrected type!

Here a an image of the beginning of my level.

As you can see it has holes through it.
Do all the structures need to connected like a puzzle?
Or can i make a wall with primitive?
How do i connect them eachother?

Okay if you mean you wanna block that holes in other side?

Then only Press door then CTRL + D then drag this same "Door way other side and turn it 180 degrees... and place it Smile Simple!

Sorry i mean:

The red cirlce whole around it needs to be filled with a wall or something.
And i don't know how. I can only choose things in enities list from those walls.
There are no such walls that are really small to fit in those little holes to close it.

Theres a static object named door_way in the castlebase set. That's what you are looking for.

Found it and now its filled with wall around it. Thanks for that!
Now for so far i still have questions.

I choosed some candle lights. But the problem about that is that they started on while i start the level. I want them off. How do i do this?

Another problem is that i edited some furnitures and added a new hallway. And while i test the map again it wont update the my new hallway i've added. So actually i still have my old room. It only updates my furnitures in the room not my new hallway.
How to fix this?
