Yeah i dont use youtube or anything like that.

The chemicals work if i put them in the map with the burner, but it doesnt work if i put them in the other maps..... i'm not sure why this is but it isnt registering that you have all the chemicals for some reason.

I need help with this as i have no idea what to do, maybe i need to add some sort of function which brings the chemicals info from the other maps into the map with the burner?

Anyway i'm sorry about this, as soon as i find out how to fix this problem i will upload the fixed version.

There is a special file called global.hps that Frictonal uses for ingame information / variables that are needed in more than 1 map and as such are stored outside of the map-related .hps..

There is one problem witht he map which stops you from proceeding still. I havent bothered to fix it and dotn think i will, sadly i just cant be bothered with amnesia anymore Sad just lost interest now mainly due to the fact that barely anyone plays any of my maps so whats the point making them now.

Yeah i would carry on but i have to study for assessments and in a few months exams. But the main reason i dont anymore is because its very very time consuming and if only 15 people play my map then why am i wasting about 200 hours like i did with the story i posted on this thread? but note alot of time is spent of scripting and bug fixing. The intro took me about 5 hours itself Sad i put alot of detail into the maps and i feel like im the only one who appretiates and admires my work. I may not be as good as the developers but i bet if i spent more time on this i would be, as i havent ever made a map before and i have never script anything in my life.

Well when i think of it i may go back and do more and finally fix the previous part to the story. But its the scripting that i dislike, its so tiem consuming and hurts my head after a while. But if i only did 1 hour a day then it would take forever. I remember coming home and spending about 2-3 hours on making my maps for a month or so, i get home at 5pm and go to bed at 10 so i only had 2-3 hours to make dinner and socialise Sad

You can just freeze until after your exams. That's what I'm doing right now.

Also, make the map because you want to for yourself. Sure, it's much more pleasant if people actually play it, but consider it a nice plus. Even if 'only' 15 people played it, you have gained some valuable experience. Smile
