Solved: 8 Years, 8 Months, 4 Weeks ago Amnesia freezes in mid game?

Ok so I'm in Old Archives, and i randomly freeze near the beginning (when the door opens) and I have to close the game via task manager. Please help, because I've heard this is a great game.
