Changing the settings has made no difference unfortunately.

I've also tried changing the resolution.
Exactly the same thing happens regardless of any permutation of settings I use.
I am using a Sony Vaio VGN-SR21M.
Graphic Processor ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3470
Installed Video Memory 256 MB
I am not aware of any integrated graphics chip for low power running on this machine.
Just some additional info:
The very first time I tried running Amnesia (a few days ago) it did not crash at all. Instead, it was mostly upside down. It ran smoothly and the graphics/textures looked nice but it was very difficult to see where I was going.
I say
mostly upside down because certain things were the correct way up (such as the pink spots on the floor and certain light sources).
I tried to correct this problem by updating my drivers. It seemed to work at first, but after playing the game for a few seconds it crashed. Since then it has been crashing almost as soon as I even reach the menu.
Any ideas?
