[Solved] Editor crashing every 5 minutes
Im trying to make a custom story and its really annoying on level editor because it keeps crashing and closing every 5 minutes on my mac!

Did you download the updated editors that fix a crash issue? If you did, can you provide any crash dumps so that I can help track down

I'm stuck on a Mac for a while so I've been using the editor here.
I have downloaded the updated version, yet the issues still seem to derive from selecting entities.
It can be a tad frustrating, but it is keeping me in the habit of CTRL+Sing every 30 seconds. 
I'll post my upcoming crash dumps when I get them

Once I get the crash dumps along with "steps to recreate" (if possible) I can track down the crashes and fix them..
Odds are it's probably more MS VC++ Standard C++ library allows getting away with anything and mac and linux STD C++ libs don't.

Is it possible for you to create a video of you using the editor when it crashes? I'm having difficulties recreating the crash over here. Also do you have any more of those crash logs?

Try this application http://www.techsmith.com/jing/ It'll allow pretty easy screen capturing and uploading to screencast.com so you can easily paste a link on this thread for me to view.
Also.. try going into your "[HOME]/Library/Frictional Games/HPL2/" folder and remove the Temp and Thumbnails folders.
