HPL2 editor suite cannot extract .exe

i have downloaded the .zip file of the hpl editor suite to find that winrar claims that the .exes do not exist. it gave me this message:

C:\Documents and Settings\new account\My Documents\My Received Files\hpl_editor_suite.zip: No files to extract

it will not extract them or run them from the zipped file. any ideas? Huh

fixed. used a different extraction software. cant find how to delete post though Undecided

I have similar problem, but in my case it says that a particular file is corrupt. Tried to repair. Failed.

Didn't work? "hpl_editor_suite.zip: This archive is either unknown format or damaged." When I'm extracting rebuilt file (after repairing it) WinRAR say that "CRC failed in modeleditor.pdb. The file is corrupt."
Any ideas?

OK my problem is partially solved. I managed to extract Windows HPL Suite with WinZIp, but not all of it:"CRC check failed. Expected 97871A30, actual DB0358AE." , "CRC of extracted file does not match header value." Well, I didn't get much problems despite this bug, I only have problems with Material Editor, Mod View and Model View. Namely, none of them will close properly. Have to kill them with Task Manager. :S

Have you tried the esc button on the keyboard?

Haha it worked. Thank you, I had no idea it was as easy as that. And I was killing it with Process Explorer all the time...silly me Big Grin
