I tried every thing in the technical guide to get this game to work. but each time i get "FATAL ERROR: Renderer #0".
my pc's Specs
Windows 7 64 bit
2 gig of ram
nvidia gfroce 8800 gtx
Intel core 2 duo 2.66 GHz

I'm at wits end, i cant figure out whats wrong. i updated my drivers and reinstalled the game 4 times Sad

Make sure your graphic card drivers are up to date.

i updated(reinstalled) my drivers twice yesterday. their the most recent one available.

Uninstall, reboot, install new ones. Is this the way you did? Because log says so.

I'm having the same problem. I spent a good two hours (trying various methods) reinstalling my graphics drivers, and I still get Renderer #0. I've tried following several other steps--including not touching the settings and running it in the default resolution in a window--to no avail. I'm worried that this is because of my graphics card, but just in case:

I am getting the same problem after installing this game from Steam.
It will not run on any screen setting, resolution setting or after reinstalling.
I have included my hpl.log and my DxDiag, and my graphics drivers are up to date with nvidia.com.
I would also like to add that the RendererFeatTest on the Renderer #0 support page gives me the same error.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You have Intel graphic card?
Intel cards are below system requirements.

Intel i5 is CPU, not graphic card.
