Game runs, but no video shows up.

I can fully run Amnesia, I see all the menus, I created my profile, started the game, listened to the intro, and am able to walk around the map. All this time however, there is no video. Its strange, I can press ESC and see the menu while playing, I can open the journal and see that but there is no actual game video.

I have Windows 7 64 Bit, on a laptop (i know laptops are very iffy with this game), and the most up to date intel driver.

hpl file included.

Also, I ran the compatibility test, and like the game, no graphics showed on any screen, but the text on the screens all showed.

Hm, alright.
I guess that makes sense.
Being a laptop, there is not much I can do is there?

You can wait for Intel to finally release a good driver that increases the version of OpenGL supported, or screw them.

I have this same problem but I am using a Desktop and it's also the demo version if that matters.

but I'm probably screwed too, huh?

You can buy a Graphic Card for your desktop.

ive just brought a brand new alienware laptop, top of the range and everything, and i have this problem as well.
i know i dont need a new graphics card or anything like that. the laptop i had before was 5 years old and could run the game properly. its a bummer because amnesia is one of my fav games and i cant play it. if someone needs my comp stats, tell me how to see them because im not good with computers

If you have ati or nvidia graphics in the laptop it could be a matter of downloading the latest drivers to fix the problem.
