Asking Help For Making "inventory.hps"

I've noticed that Amnesia has an "inventory.hps" file that has combine callbacks in it. I tried to make my own, and nothing worked. I don't think it's linking to my custom story. In "amnesia the dark descent\maps\main" there are a global.hps and inventory.hps. Next to these, there are global.chps and inventory.chps. I currently have the inventory.hps in the root of my custom story. Does anyone know if I have to put it in my maps folder? Please help.

Oops, forgot to say that I already made the inventory.hps and everything inside it, and it's just that it won't work.

Put it in your maps folder. I have made one which works, so if there are more problems, feel free to ask.
