A little combat helper!

Oh, so go into your "My Documents" folder and tehre find "Penumbra Overture" and later "Episode 1"
Open settings.cfg with notepad
set SimpleWeaponSwing to "true"

Since now, you swing your weapon by holding your mouse button, and make a stabbing motion by tapping it!

Try it!

Thank you very much! Although I liked the new style "real swinging" It was almost unusable when it came to really fast breaking down several objects one after another.

Thanks for pointing that out Smile

I found another interesting option. If you set SimpleSwingInOptions to "true", you can change this setting anytime, using your in-game options

RE: A little combat helper!

You devolopers left too many *possible* beta helpers ingame. (As in things that made beta testing alot faster)

Please -REP me.
Honestly, please do. I want to see how low I can go!!
Ignore that error message too. Just ignore it and keep going to give me -rep.

Yes...

The settings.cfg in OS X is located in your User / Library / Preferences in the Frictional Games Folder...

Just use TextEdit to open the file.
