Num Lk Off: My name is pluto
Num Lk On: 0y na0e 5s *34t6

8.6GHz cpu? What's that? An alien cpu? Try updating all your computer main drivers like gpu, chipset, motherboard, mouse etc... This has to be a driver problem of your computer.

tiborg, what was your solution? I'm having the same problem.
Solved my issue by uninstalling Comcast's Constant Guard. It contains a program, GuardedID, that blocks keylogging software, which is used by Amnesia (and Crysis, and Portal, and tons of other games), to set up their control schemes. You can uninstall the annoying Constant Guard while still keeping the useful Norton Security Suite. Game now works flawlessly.
