the start? What are different/modern there:

1) The lamps
2) The doors
3) The walls
4) The flashlite + batteries
5) The shelf
6) The garbage + trashcans
7) The floor + ceiling

Only the boxes and the closets as well as one tool and some bottles are from Amnesia. There are a lot of differences. Believe me...

Sorry if I did not make it clear enough. I was referring to the story itself (the plot), the way the player begins, unaware of his past and what his surroundings are. There are already a few custom stories for Amnesia:TDD like this, and many other video games use it. But, I say it again, it's an understandable choice. I'm sure you can make something original out of it and, if not, at least a good custom story.

I noticed all the new assets from the start. That's what I mean by fresh look. (along with the interesting level design I can see in the teaser).

oh, all the things you see in the video are recorded with fraps. All the player, monster sounds are added later. I haven't wrote a line of script yet. I started the video by pressing ctrl and e at the same time to crouch and lean to the right to pretend the player was unconscious. What you see now it nothing compared to what it will be in the end.

My main problem is where to get all these models which must be modern. That' why it will take me so much time. But I think it is worth the difference. Smile

(right now I need to find a TV, imagine...lol...Smile )

Looking great so far, I love that you have implemented the flashlight, looks a lot like a cross between Amnesia and Penumbra, both fantastic games Big Grin The release date is extremely far off but its always the ones you wait the longest for that turn out to be the best experience. Good luck with it and I hope that it doesn't get abandoned like so many others before it Smile

Yes, the flashlite was a must of course. Otherwise it would look really idiotic Smile. Yes, the release date is far off but it will also be a big one. The Unbirth game from Thomas Grip was big actually and sometimes it it also really hard to "copy" it because of the completely different engine and graphics.

im very confused right now
and i can maybe convert unbirth maps not the entities and if i can texturing can be pain
and i really love to see my tank in that custom story
