Will look into this, how does Doom3 run on your system?

Doom3 has lower FPS than Penumbra on my computer, I played doom3 with a low graphic detail...but in penumbra, I can turn on 2x FSAA & 2x anisotropy at 1024x768, no motion blur(I don't like it), no bloom(the picture is not so correct), without the "dogs", it runs well.

http://www.megaupload.com/es/?d=PLT9S5EQ

unzip this to your redist directiory and see how the framerate is. Try pressing 1 and turning off shadows and see how that affects it.

Since I'm still having the exact same problem, I'll try your tester
I get 45 fps, with or without shadows

(3000+ 64, gf6800gt)

Nice shadows by the way, shadowmapping or shadow-volumes/stencils?

Unfortunately I can't download from the url, can you attach the file with your post or upload to another location?

And, although I haven't tried the url you posted, but I tried to turn off shadows in the game, set vertex shader level to "very low", I may say it's a little improve, but really no improve, the FPS's looks like from 0.5 up to 1.0. haha...

Hi, Thomas
I have tried the model viewer:

2 IE windows and 2 icq chatting windows open, eMule 0.47c running, the model viewer runs in window mode, it has a 44.9 ~ 45.1 FPS rate, no matter what key I press, 1 or R or other numbers.
