It may not be very metal by todays defenition, but this is one of the bands (along with Black Sabbath, Judas Priest etc.) that introduced the world to hardrock and metal. Gotta love Ritchie Blackmores Rainbow. This is from when they played in Germany in 77 during the time when the band had the best line up; Ritchie Blackmore, Ronnie James Dio and Cozy Powell is an epic combination.

Whoah wouldn't have thought that there are so many Metalheads on the forum ^^ I'm one of those guys who love metal but don't really care about the different subgenres. Seriously, does it matter if what I'm listening to is defined as Viking, Melodic Viking, Folk, Pagan or whatever...? Well to me it doesn't!

With that said, some of the bands I'm listening to are (In no particular order)

- Hammerfall
- Equilibrium
- Korpiklaani
- Running Wild
- Tyr
- Finntroll
- Heidevolk
- Turisas
- Sabaton
- Alestorm
...and of course the masters of madness and nonsense: Knorkator! Big Grin

We live in country side and we have a couple of outbuilding and my grandmother's house. The room is in my grandmothers house and I only sleep there in summer (with a lot of kalja (beer)). And yes, I'm lefty Smile
