Yeah they make some pretty sweet stuff, cool to see another fan here.

Also didn't know they were putting out a new album this year, will have to keep an eye out for that :]

When is metal considered brutal? Is that based on the scream technique? The loudness? How fast it is? The heaviness? The lyrics?

Vocals are almost always pig squeals and the lyrics are very brutal.

Brutal death metal:
