HILLARIOUS DUDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! I nearly jumped in my chair when I read that you are going to use Bear McCreary's music.

The area needs a blue box light. The world is never completely pitch black.
For the torches turning on, create a particle effect near them as well. Right now, it looks like they're just sort of clipping in; it looks like a graphical error instead of the intended part of the script.
Two completely different signs mean cathedral, apparently.
All of that aside, I would like to see more of it (literally, add some lights, I want to see more :p).
It was a very large area as well, something that is hard to do with HPL2. Very good job so far!
Edit: Ooh, almost forgot. I'd add a few more of those stream water particles to make the waterfall even more realistic, as well as adding an ambient water sound effect around the area. Also, add the water bubbling particle effect where the water hits the base body of water. If you want to get really crazy, you can make a custom water texture with a CubeMap that reflects whatever skybox you put in.
Creator of Wake, Through the Portal, Insomnia, and Cycles What to do with HPL3....

It's actually bright enough for the player, but I need to change my brightness to 1.1 or 1.2 for recording.

Ya they felt weird to me also, what particle should I use? I can't think of one to use.

I wish I knew how to make some new signs or edit the existing ones.

My dad was helping me with loops and stuff, and while we were testing it. This came out, the quality is not perfect, but its still funny.
You can see what a bit what I started last night, its going to be a huge prison place, most of it is just for looks and you can't actually go their. But I thought it would look cool to have giant maps mixed in with the traditional claustrophobic areas.
The bodies will actually fall close to the ceiling or from pipes like in God of War 3. So I guess you people can figure out what I'm planning to do! I'll give you another video once I get more done.
Well you guys didn't like my joke I suppose. Here's another update on one of my prison levels. Just a quick one done in a hour, so now its time to build the super awesome hard buildings that will be scaled down, lights, sounds, atmosphere and random raining never ending supply of dead people!

Most unique prison in Amnesia so far and it looks great, keep it up
