Amnesia Crashing

I just got Amnesia, I was all excited to play it, yet, once I click "Launch game", the screen blinks black a few times, then I get a message saying "Something is wrooooooong!" and that the game crashed, I've tried playing it many times, all have been a crash. I might seem calm, but right now I am furious!
