"The Attic" (Chapter 2) Custom Story

Extract the folder "The Attic_CH1" into your "custom stories" folder located in your main Amnesia. After that, go into the game itself, click "custom stories" button, select "The Attic>Chapter 1", and it should come up with "The Attic" game description and options to play this game or exit.

thing is, it wont let me save in the Custom Stories folder. It says I don't have permission to write in the folder? huh?
Well, what program are you using to unzip/extract the folder? You might need to try another program.

im not exactly sure...but i moved the folder and it saved but NOW I cant find it when I get back in my game and go to the Custom Games and still there is nothing there

Well, what program are you using to unzip/extract the folder? You might need to try another program.

All I can say is send a message to the creator of "The Attic", you might not have the right version of Amnesia. either way, he might know more.

are you an administrator on your computer? if not, then that might be the problem. if you're not an administrator you aren't aloud to access certain files/folders.

Project Update:

We are just about finished with the outside area. We have also added a new download link for a fully re-vamped version of the first part. It removes the bugs, and adjusts some other misc. things. If you have played the old version, there is no need to play the new one.

The outside area is done for P2, and we are starting on the City Hall. Oops, did I say that? Location spoilers for the win! Big Grin

Soooo, project is still coming along, my mapper is just slow as him and I are per-occupied with final exams at the moment. Please stick around, we are hoping for a release before 2012.

As of right now, its still 20% until the other dev and I get together and discuss what we have done, what we have left, what we should add, what we should fix etc. It will be changed no later than noon tomorrow.

unless you're planning for the second chapter to be the last one, i wouldn't recommend having two endings. it will make it a LOT harder to make another one when there is two different ways it could be starting.
