Computer in messhall error

So I played about 30 minutes of the game (penumbra Black plague) and Im up to the messhall and im at the computer, when i try to unlock the door by pressing unlock button the games crashes and goes to a black screen.

Plz Help

I bought the game off of steam, AMD athlon X2 dual-core QL-65, running on windows 7, and Im pretty sure ATI radeon graphics

P.S. its 32-bit

do a file integrity check. I need to know what graphics card you have btw, do so by using dxdiag

Did the file integrity check help? Try this: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/wi...n7-32.aspx Basically, make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your graphics card.

I do I've checked that

there are access errors so either administrator rights or corrupted files.

so should I reinstall

you can try but I don't know, there must be something wrong with your operating system or computer
