GOG. all the way. No DRM, i hate DRM, greedy americans using piracy as an excuse to fleece people out of more cash for nothing much in return. GOGs determination to destroy DRM and return gaming to what it was strikes a very positive cord with me , it should be "whats the best game we can make for you" not "how much can we fleece you for".. tell me, when did Omni Consumer Products take gaming over again?

Plus,. No "cheevos". i love steam, how it supports the indie industry and allows games that would normally never see the light of day to be published. but i cant stands its forced cheevos. i hate the things, they block the screen with the icons, the "sriing" they make when unlocked goes through me like a hot nail, and for goodness sake, WINNING the game is acheivement enough,. sorry, if you are such an example of instant gratification addicted manchildishness that you need a shiny bage to show "you can press the RETURN key", kindly get out of my hobby and go watch the smurfs. as its about your level. stop patronizing me will ya! it grinds my gears to powder!

yup, danny is onto something, im getting old! come on, surely seeing a sweet animation for hitting return is instant gratification enough? sometimes, i dont think ill ever understand younger gamers. what is the whole POINT of these cheevos. they are one of 2 things i cannot stand about steam. the other being DRM.

Edit: My, this thread is fast! Okay then, "Cheevos". I assume you mean those achievement popups? Eh, why don't you just disable the whole steam overlay in game? Go to Settings -> In-Game -> Untick the box where it says 'Enable Steam Community In-Game' and you should be able to enjoy your game without annoying popups.
