Hey, I'm playing Penumbra Overture and normally in games I play with rather high sensitivity, and I frequently have to open config files to raise the max mouse sensitivity. My question is does any way exist to do this for Penumbra? I'm not going to edit anything except mouse sensitivity values so I can play it more comfortably. I have a 5600dpi mouse and with the sensitivity maxed, it still feels too slow. What file would this be located in and if I did change the values, would it break the game?

Holy shit man! How can you control that!?

Either way, go to "My Documents/Penumbra Overture/Episode1/" and open the settings.cfg. Search for "MouseSensitivity" and there will be a number beside it. Play with that to your will and experiment. I'm not sure if a higher number than the maximum amount will change anything or not.

And you maxied out the sensitivity in the in-game options first?

My mouse is set to 1500dpi by default, but can go up to 5600 as well when set up (R.A.T.7). And 5600 is pretty much uncontrollable, in my opinion. If his mouse works at 5600dpi, I don't think he'd need a new mouse... That's absurd speed, is OP serious? O___o

It's more of a personal preference of what you're used to when it comes to mouse sensitivity, and DPI. For instance my mouse is currently set at its maximum of 3500 DPI, and I use it very happily. However when people borrow my computer they complain about how my mouse is WAY too sensitive for them, and they have to turn it down.

If he has multiple monitors then the he needs a higher DPI than the one you would need for just one.

Well, there is no real point to continue this conversation here. The question has been answered.
