I'm guessing that's just the font. Parts of other letters have the same effect, like the Ys and Ns.

No no, I think he's onto something. If you take all of the emboldened Os and line them up you get this:

Ooooooooooooooooooooooo

If you use an online anagram generator it spits out the following words:

Ooooo oo ooooooo oo oooo
O o o o o o oooooooooooo
Ooo ooo ooooo oooooo o

If you then take the gaps between each of those words and overlay them onto the letter on the aamfp.com page it reveals the following letters:
