 Make the scales the same. Turn off grid snapping if it's too high/too low. When you get the exact size, make sure the z and the x axis are the same as the y axis. If the walls surround it doesn't fit, add a pillar in between.
 
If the room above the ceiling is empty or serves no purpose, make just the door and make it locked. Now add a hole.

 I think like I said I shall leave it as it is at the current time. The point of the hole however was that there would be a large window to give the impression of a ballroom like structure. Architecturally, there are two-three more storeys above the ballroom plus a flat roof

				If it's a ballroom, there should be small round tables for the gentlemen and gentleladies to sit at and swap gossips while they rest from all that aggressive two-step dancing.
