I didn't realize that screenshot was yours (Stupid moment for me).

How many models/textures do you have in their anyways? 20mb sure is a lot, if that is compressed.

I think I'll wait to your done, you might change them and I'd rather not have to download them again. xD

The landscape and the landscape texture are what weights the most (the lanscape texture is 4096X4096, because I had to texture paint later)

So, the landscape.dae has about 15000 faces, I'd say, and it weights 4MB, but the pic weights 16,7 MB-also, the .msh file created from the HPL editor has 7MB on it. So yeah. I can make a 8192X8192 pic to add definition, but it would be like 45MB.

I had an experience where I had to make a 10000X10000 pic (not for Amnesia, for personal stuff) and it lagged a lot, it had like 200MB on it, I don't remain the format I saved it to.

So, uhm, this is all I've managed to get done so far. I'll re-crop when the rest of the map has the detail I want :D
Spoiler below!

There's going to be stuff between the two buildlings so there's no random end of the earth at the back of the alley.

Sorry about the pixelation, I'm not sure what that's about - it wasn't pixelated in photoshop.

Looks like you have messed with the lighting in Photoshop IMO, or you added sepia colors in-game...

Need to fix up the lighting on the windows in the back, the right sides have light casted where the criss-cross wood are that separate the glass into panes.

The sepia tone's from the fog and boxlight, but I'll definitely see what I can do about the lights on the windows. I hadn't noticed that part!

Edit: I think I've fixed it a bit - turned the boxlight purply-blue and reduced the 'yellow' in the fog so that it wasn't sepia, then moved the pointlights behind the windows to get rid of the weird lighting (and I got rid of the puddles because they were bugging me)
Spoiler below!

Sorry for the small size - pixelation is driving me nuts!
I'll upload a larger size if you need/want it for anything though

I also added a small flying pig because I used AAMFP assets

Even when it's dawn, even with shadows, the shadows aren't usually as intense as these, I suggest you to put faint pointlights in dark places, where light and darkness meet.

Think I'm gonna give this a shot. Going to try something different to simulate directional lighting, or more specifically, sunlight. I did this trick in Horizon, but it was hidden in dark. Should be more large scale this time, wish me luck =P
