And i acciedently copied the souinds and music files to the dark descent Sad It now plays aamfp sounds! How can i fix it?
Are you certain you're using the NEW model editor? I mean enemy_manpig was the big addition to it but its saying it is invalid, hinting that you're using the wrong one. Just to make clear you're supposed to use "ModelEditor130930" or newer

ALl seems to work propely, but.....
I have copy'd the WHOLE map of ENEMY from MFP to my FC-> enemy..
I can see ONLY the HUGH kid, overall the others won;t appear for me, and \or crahsed the editor!

The BIG kid should been seen \ work in game should you say, cause i see it and i placed it in the editor..
BUT, it won't show in game.. no sounds,, nothing..
What do i do wrong?
do i REALLY also need Static Objects from MFP?
Please help here!

Works now, did it well.
Now when in game , when sorta close to the enemy, screen flickers..
and game crashes after.. like 3-5 seconds..

WHy does it crashes, comething with the BONES..
OR cause the game can;t find the sounds [ i dont have them in my mod or anywhere in Amnesia ]

Yeah, I can tell you're using the latest model editor since that error message is a new addition. Is it possible you're not using the new EntityTypes.cfg?

Did you remember to remove the old msh and anm files?
Regarding the static objects, there are some entities that require textures from the static objects folders and if you want to use those you'll need to copy the textures as well.

I removed the msh & Anm ONLY from the Enemies-Folder..
Is that enough, or should i remove ALL msh & Anm from the WHOLE AMNESIA?
Now i have another problem tho..
The monsters seem to work.. sorta.., only after some like.. 10 seconds the game crashes..
Maybe cause i have all monsters standing in 1 map?? maybe to much info for the engine???

HUGH PROBLEM HERE!
My Flashlight doesn't work anymore now..
It is the one from WHITE NIGHT.
Worked perfect 7 months, now i've updated this all..
What can i do?
The problem is this :
When i turn the flashlight on -> it turns on for like 2 seconds then just turns off??
But the battery\oil is draining...
This MUST be fixed, hopefully!

EDIT : I'm on a Full Conversion, as you all probly already know.. Wink

Suddenly sometimes, it pops up.. and stays thre untill empty..???

EXTA EDIT...
It works BUT wih a 5 seconds delay. Precissely 5 seconds when turned on.
So turn on 1 seconds -> OFF.... 5 secodsn turns on and no problem.. BUT,
WHen turned off again, same problem occures.

No, just for the AMFP entities.

It's not too much for the engine, but you could try just having one enemy active in the level and see if that solves the problem.
Are you sure it's the monsters causing the crash? If you remove the monsters entirely, does the map work like it should?
If the crash keeps happening, send me your hpl.log after the game has crashed. It would also be helpful to get the ent, map and hps files related to the issue.

Does it disappear instantly, or does it act as if the player has pressed the flashlight button? Have you tried it in an empty map with no scripts?

Edit:I downloaded White Night and tried the flashlight without running into the issue you describe, so I suspect there's some other problem. So yeah, please try to use the flashlight in a very basic map.

Also, if anyone else has a problem with custom lanterns that worked before, please let me know.

Hm i cant see the kids, also the new lantern of mandus will just crash the game when i place it in my cs...

I tried loading the gent, maid and kids in the model editor but they still wont show up. No noises, no body...

And i didnt test the static objects like walls etc. Going to test these now.
