I'm trying to install Black Plague because I heard it was super scary and very fun. I keep getting the same freaking message:

"The procedure entry point alSource3i could not be located in the dynamic link library OpenAL32.dll."

I'm using a HP Pavilion G series laptop and I have Realtek HD Audo. I have the OpenAL.exe thingy.

Did you double click on OpenAL.exe? Because it's meant to install OpenAl32.dll

Yes I did. After it "installed" OpenAL32.dll, it still gives me the same message.

That's strange because it should install needed one. You can try this: http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/D...alinst.zip

That's the one I have. I just tried to double click OpenAL and I selected the OpenAL program and it said it was complete but the same message came up.

Do you get this while installing or when trying to launch the game?

Make sure you have the latest patch according to your version found here:

http://support.frictionalgames.com/25/

One fix is: Updated OpenAL bundle

If that doesn't help do two things:

1) Install this:

http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/D...alinst.zip

2) Put this file into the main game folder(you should overwrite one file):
