RE: Hmm...

Currently there is no networking code inside of HPL1, nor is it really written in a way to support multi-player. It may be doable, but will take a bit of work, as it's not just networking code, but all the synchronization and predicting code that has to be written inside of the engine.

Developing away on one of
Multiple Macs running 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, and 10.9.
Linux, 8-core AMD, 8GB RAM, Fedora 18, nVidia 450 1GB

RE: Multiplayer Mod

It is not possible.
So it's not been made before.
And will not be made in the future.

RE: Multiplayer Mod

It may be possible using the Penumbra engine (HPL1) but that's about it. The scripting language for the Amnesia engine doesn't offer any networking.

RE: Multiplayer Mod

I don't think anyone will going to spend weeks on HPL1 to add multiplayer support.

RE: Multiplayer Mod

Can we close this one up? There are enough co-op/multiplayer threads as it is.
