I played all of the Penumbra games and I enjoyed them VERY much.
I do not have up to date Nvidia GEforce 6 or Radeon x1000 drivers.
Is there any possible way ANY way to play Amnesia without? Hah this sounds so stupid! But can someone please inform me? I'll give you a cookie

1. What operating system do you have? Also 32-bit or 64-bit?
2. Is it a laptop or a desktop? If a laptop, what model?
3. Attach me here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.
Don't see these yet:
Spoiler below!
1) Make sure the game is updated to version v1.2
2) I guess you have Windows XP so make sure you have these installed:
Windows 7 64-bit, I'm using an HP laptop from all I know it's an intel pentium... or whatever... I can't get far enough for an HPL log file because the launcher won't open it properly. but I do have a log from the launcher.

Go to start and type dxdiag. From there you can see what graphics card you have, what operating system etc...
For the HPL.log file to appear go to the Amnesia folder and try to run Amnesia.exe and not launcher.exe but anyway, you can tell me your graphics card through dxdiag
I saw nothing about the graphics card, but it says my chip type (if that helps) is an Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family.
I can't open the Amnesia folder properly as I am trying to play Amnesia via Steam.
Also... Do you know if NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M can run Amnesia rather then GeForce 6?

If you have Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family then you cannot play the game under Windows.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M is WAY,WAY,WAY,WAY better than an Nvidia GeForce 6 card. The 560M is a late 2011 card when the 6 series is from 2005 or something.
Wooh! I'm browsing through new Laptops! I'm tired of this HP in the first place... So thank you! seriously you have no Idea how much that one piece of information just helped me.

Good but I'm pretty sure that there no laptops anymore with Nvidia GeForce 6 series cards. Also, for OpenGL games always prefer Nvidia cards and not AMD ones. Actually, only Nvidia for OpenGL gaming.
Yeah but 560m or whatever can obviously run amnesia and mostly all new games?
