Cannot launch the game

I bought Amnesia but to my dismay the game wouldn't open.

I updated my graphics drivers (Intel) but it still would not work.

Then I heard from a friend that intel does not work with Amnesia at all, is this true?

Surely I didn't buy this game and not be able to play it?

And I keep reading that I need "OpenGL 2.1". I can't find a download to it anywhere. Could someone help me out here too?

Sorry, not a PC gamer at all, this is all rocket science to me

EDIT: I really shouldn't say it won't open. It;ll open, but after choosing my settings and trying to launch, I get this:
"FATAL ERROR: Renderer #0 could not be initialized! Make sure your graphic card drivers are up to date. Check Log File for more information."

Like I said I updated my drivers and the same error comes up :\

Most integrated graphics from Intel are not capable of running the game, only IntelHD are capable of running the game and even then it is not something we support.

Post the hpl.log file from my documents/amnesia/main/ and we can see what type of chip you have.

Based on the drivers that HP provides for your laptop I think that you also have an Nvidia card at which you are able to play the game. An NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GE. Am I right?

Couldn't find it on my computer (if you meant it'd be on here) but will download and see if it works.

When I install should I uninstall the Intel?

EDIT: When I try to install the driver it tells me it could not find any compatible hardware :\

Is that what the second download is for? The second hasn't finished yet.
