Black plague: crash problem!

Please help me on this one, my game crashes when i put the sample blood with a syringe and enter the door, i can see that screen but instead of continuing the game, it just exists and i dont get any notifications about why it crashed or nothing whatsoever! Please help!
P.S. Overture and Requiem work as a charm, but i dont wanna play requiem till im done with BP.
PPS. Ati Radeon 9800xt; AMD x64 2800+; WinXP Pro SP3; DirectX10 or 11 im not sure.

You should update black plague to latest version is my guess. Probably a texture that has the incorrect pow2 size, which makes some graphics card crash and it was fixed in a patch.

Well shoot. It's not working at all now Sad

I get this message:

I've tried updating the drivers and the game. Any suggestions?

1) Download Driver Sweeper and install it. Do not run it yet.
2) Uninstall the AMD drivers and all of their components.
3) Now run Driver Sweeper. Select all AMD, ATI, NVIDIA, PHYSX traces and delete all the results.
4) Reboot your system and then download this:

5) After installation reboot your system again. Make sure that in device manager your AMD card appears correctly and try launching the game again.

Okay so, what can I do? I mean, the other two work just fine, and even BP worked fine until I was about to open that door... Any suggestions?
I'll try and see if it the other two work now that I have new drivers and I can try reinstalling my OS?

Argh I rather work on the next game than help freeloaders waste my time. If you freeload then solve the problems you get on your own, that can't be too much to ask now can it.
