Solved: 8 Years, 9 Months ago curser and movement problems

i have gone as far as page 16 in general problems.
i found a couple of threads similiar, but nothing that helped.
i have no curser, can't move ahead, but i did get a hand to move a broken bottle, opened the door, which i did then could'nt move any further.
this is a brand new gameing computer with a terrabite of memory so the game should move correctly.
any suggestions?
i actually went out and bought this computer to be able to play this game!

ok,
i've just read about 30 more threads similiar to my problem, i have tried a few of the solutions and just run up against other problems. like black screen, yea!
it seems this is a common prob. too bad.
i will try a few more of these possible solutions but have little faith.
hopefully someone will be kind enough to respond to my prob.

1. What operating system do you have? Also 32-bit or 64-bit?
2. Is it a laptop or a desktop? If a laptop, what model?
3. Attach me here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.

i have an hp pavillion p7-1154 pc, it's a 64-bit desktop.
i think i've sent the correct file, but who knows this is a new compooper so it's going to take some time to get aquainted with it's abilities.
thanks for your help,
kel

from where did you buy the game? Also, attach us again the HPL.log file. The problem that you have is normally a graphics card old drivers one. We'll see though...

So by "cursor" do you mean crosshair? I'm a little confused here. Anyway, you can enable the crosshair from the Options menu.
