I'd like some opinions on this, but focus on the lightning and the window.

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

You could change the fog particles to be colored the same (or darker, more likely) as the light sources they're hovering around, that would look good.

Try to move the candle on top one of the barrels

If you scream for 8 years, 7 month and 6 days you have produced enough energy to warm a cup of coffee

Look at the color of the window-glass.
Then look at light you placed inside the room. Do they match?

When you've made them match it's of course not the realistic life. But now you have the base light.
Now you can decrease the color. Not too much because as the window glass indicates it's pretty light outside.
Remember that the wall closest to the window should be darkest, since the light isn't casting on it, but being reflected onto it. It should still be lit, but not too much.
Use the + and - when you decrease light. This way it's easier to decrease the same amount on both RG and B.

Trying is the first step to success.

What I'm saying is that it doesn't look like the window is casting light onto anything Smile

Oh I see, but how can I fix that? Not very good with lightning

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

The post i wrote, that you didn't understand was some kind of an instruction.

Imagine where the light is casting. Imagine how it would look if it was real. Then try to do it. Make it lighter where you think it'd be lighter. Keep the same color-scheme. But make them darker and lighter

Trying is the first step to success.
