Look at the color of the window-glass.
Then look at light you placed inside the room. Do they match?
When you've made them match it's of course not the realistic life. But now you have the base light.
Now you can decrease the color. Not too much because as the window glass indicates it's pretty light outside.
Remember that the wall closest to the window should be darkest, since the light isn't casting on it, but being reflected onto it. It should still be lit, but not too much.
Use the + and - when you decrease light. This way it's easier to decrease the same amount on both RG and B.
Trying is the first step to success.
