When Walking/Running, cannot change directions at the same time
Hello!
I need help! Amnesia looks great on my computer and works pretty smoothly... the only problem is that I cannot smoothly move to the "right" and walk/run at the same time. If I try to walk/run I can't change directions while doing so, it makes me walk/run in a straight line. I have to walk... then stop, then change direction, then walk again. It's highly annoying, especially since I've tried to update everything that I know about, like my graphics card.
I don't know how to tell if I have an Intel graphics card too... I don't believe I do...
But I've checked the version and it's 1.10. I'll attach the extra info (hpl) to help.
Computer specs:
Sony Vaio --> VPCCW27FX
Windows 7 - 64 bit
Processor: Intel® Core i5 CPU ... M520 @ 2.4 GHz
RAM: 4GB
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M/PCI/SSE2
(version): 3.1 NVIDIA 188.67
I tried updating the GeForce 330M driver... I did with Sony, but on the actual NVIDIA website - once I downloaded the driver, it couldn't find my actual driver to update... which is weird.

@Plutomaniac
no need for that on this problem.
It's most likely your keyboard.
Most keyboard manufacturors have 3 keys in sets to save money
For example: W-shift-D in a set, when you try to sprint (mostly shift) you cant look to the right or left, you will have to get an other keyboard, get an expensive one for the best results or download this http://www.microsoft.com/enable/training...ykeys.aspx

I followed all the steps and everything was working properly until I got to install the new driver and it said: "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it"
"The system cannot find the file specified" and "If you know the manufacturer of your device, visit its website and check the support section for driver software"
I am beginning to dislike my computer...
When I was on the step to select the device driver to install I had three options... NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M Version:8.16.11.8783 [11/2/2009]
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M Version:8.16.11.8867 [1/11/2010]
Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
I've tried selecting each one and it doesn't work... also I updated my NVIDIA graphics from Sony the other day like I mentioned and it was the [1/11/2010] ... not sure if that's what is causing problems, but I thought I'd ask
Should I uninstall that and try the "have disk" method again for this new one?
I'll see if the keyboarding driver thing works.
Thanks for trying to help!

Sorry but what exactly do I download? It comes up with a bunch of options for XP ... I have windows 7 and see a little Accessory tutorial link, but I still don't know what I would need to download.
Thanks!
Also, "walking" doesn't work that way either... if I changed the keys would it help?

Well when I click "Display adapters" I only have the NVIDIA driver as an option, there isn't an Intel driver that shows up.
:o(
And I've been re-trying the "Have disk method" but it keeps coming up with that same error.. :o/
I feel bad that my computer is being a problem.
Should I uninstall the driver I downloaded from Sony (display and HD Audio driver ... it was like an update from 2010 or a patch or something on their website) and then try the one that should actually update it fully?

Alright, I understand that. It's just... even when I do the same procedure, I still get the error that the "system cannot find the file specified"
I put the modded.inf file in the folder with the NVIDIA driver and when I get to the browsing step, I choose that folder and it automatically selects the modded.inf file (I've even tried selecting it on my own too) and I still get that error.
