Problem with the editors.

PROBLEM X:

I have an issue with the editors.

When i open f.ex the level editor, everything is fine, but when i try to add a material, by clicking the decals tab and the ''...'', the editor crashes, and gives me a blackbox error. this isnt only in the level editor, its in every editor. model, particle, material, whatever; all crashing when i click the ''...'' under the materials tab. this has happened every time i try.

if anyone has any advice on how to fix this, please let me know

Repeat the process so that it crashes, then post the LevelEditor.log from Documents/HPL2.

Did you add any custom material? That might be the reason.

The log didn't provide any useful information. Not sure what could be preventing the editors from properly displaying the texture browser. Given the other log, the issue appears to be SDL related, which could suggest it is a driver issue. The logs tell me you're on a laptop with Windows 2000. The Nvidia website doesn't even provide drivers for that operating system as far as i can tell. I'm going to move this to technical support.

He/she does no have Windows 2000, this is a log bug. It says version 6 so I guess Windows Vista.

yeah, its a windows vista, business. XPS M1530

any ideas on how to fix it? an update for them perhaps? because i havent had this problem forever with this computer. it just recently started, bout, 4 weeks ago or so, and ive been using the editors for atleast 4 months

i have a ''snow.mat'' file that statyk made, but thats been working fine for like, ever. i tried making some custom models aswell, but they worked fine aswell (although i had some bugs with figurin out how to put them ingame.)

i dont know, just recently its been a total drag. i cant add any material what so ever. in ANY editor
