I watch the trailer a lot too but I love the fact that Wubwub calls it a movie and also has this innocent way of adding old news to the forum. I just think it's hug worthy.

Lol, I never really use tab or escape to pause the game when a monster comes. My safety buttons are ctrl+s, aka crawl backwards while panicking and sweating

This is Outlast, a first-person, combat-free horror game about investigating an asylum.

It's coming to PC (Steam) at the end of the summer by new development studio Red Barrels. We saw the game at PAX East last weekend.

Apparently both games -- AAMFP and Outlast -- will be released at the same time. Hmm...

The lack of an inventory in AAMFP doesn't worry me, but what does confound me is the mooted inability to pause the game. I remember this being mentioned some months back, Dan saying that they wanted the player to be fully immersed in the game with no way to pause it (which would break that immersion). So I guess we'll all need a bucket besides us, also unplug the phone, ignore anyone at the door ......... etc.
