I couldn't imagine it being out and not being able to play it for a period of time. For me, I'd have to go on YouTube and face many tempting gameplay videos of it every day that I'd have to ignore until I would get to experience it myself. I hope it comes out soon for your sake, I sympathize.

No one understands that people need content! Need a full game trailer for the game, preferably with a release date! For nearly four months have passed, there is nothing new! We do not need content for a week before the release! We need it now!

Unfortunately, creating a proper trailer takes a lot of time... They can't just record a bunch of random scenes with fraps and slap the Amnesia logo on it - that was perfectly fine for the teasers but if they did it for the official trailer, people might be disappointed and it might even hurt sales more than not releasing anything at all. (Just remember all those guys who complained about the quality of the halloween teaser! -.-)
In a nutshell, creating high quality marketing material always takes time away from actual development, so I can imagine that they simply don't feel like wasting time on it right now Of course if one was cynical, and keen on spreading silly rumors, one could argue that this could also mean that they are in a tight squeeze time-wise and that the game isn't nearly as close to being finished as they'd like us to believe............*conspiracy keanu*
