directx and opengl are 2 different things

(ok both for realtime 3d rendering but you know what i mean)
but opengl 3.0 will have some of the same features as DX10 so maybe that could do

allso (excuse the caps) DX10 IS CRAP
what do we get:
- cloud shadows on the ground (c&c generals had it)
- multimonitor (supcom did it on dx9)
- god rays (volumetric ligting anyone
and the list goes on and on...
anyway, excuse the rant :p
DX10 will add little to penumbra imo most stuff can be done in the current opengl afaik
