The map design was pretty well done, but you need to work on your lighting. I swear there was not a single box light in any of the levels.

Go to the guests' quarters, which you can reach from the cellar. From there, go straight through the double doors and turn right. Thanks for the reply, though that doesn't seem to solve my problem. There are two grunts, and they are both facing the door. Well, in fact there are 6. 4 of them don't move and 2 of them are alive. Non of them can be stabbed in the back.

Inventory .. Select the knife .. Use the knife in around the chest of the M I D D L E grunt!!!
It MUST work!
Try that out, if it still doesn't work.. ill check that out!

Unfortunately, my version of the game lacks a grunt in the middle, thus there's nothing to stab.

I have to say, even though I haven't played this myself yet (I did watch some LPs though), this looks BEASTLY epic. Seriously, it's these types of mods that remind me that I still have loads to learn as a mapper, and modder in general, and motivate me be reach for greater heights, and raise my own standards.

You sir, have done that to me with this, and I haven't even begun playing the damn thing yet.

Don't worry man, your story is being received very well I think. (And I do think that having it be your first map does give you a little bit of leeway) The secondary download link (not the main mod DB one) alone has almost 700 downloads in the past 3 days. And people are already looking forward to your next project, from what I can tell.

Oh yeah, and I think that issue with the grunt at the end made it into the final version. I think it has something to do with "servant_grunt_ragdoll_1," which is not in the map when the player gets there (but it's what they have to stab, right?)

I made it for YOU all the ppl who love this game!
It took my sooo long to build , and all by myself..
I can say i am proud on myself for this project..
And like in the otehr post...
Offcourse there are bugs... the CS is so hugh... that i can NEVER fix all those bugs by myself...
not even with my friend SUMMER^ the bug-report-specialist...
Thanks for playing my CS and hopefully pll will enjoy.
BTW: What's wrong with the grunt raggdoll?

Correct. I saw the code and it does set servant_grunt_ragdoll_1 active but he doesn't shows up.

I tried to fix the problem but I have no experience with this engine so I can't really offer much help

Try to fix it please. I doubt anyone will finish this CS

This is a UPDATE for the RAGGDOLL-BUG!!!

When downloaded copy the map into :
Amnesia - The Dark Descent\redist\custom_stories\Insanity Nocturnal Confusion\entities
When dropped there the raggdoll MUST been SEEN!!!
It is a bug that the gruntraggdoll won't been seen cause it was NOT in the CS yet!!!
SORRRRRYY !!!
hope this will fix the bug!
