Access Violation?

Hello! I just purchased Amnesia through the Humble Bundle, but while all the other games play fine, Amensia won't start. I downloaded it through Steam, I did the direct download from the Bundle site, deleted both and tried re-installing them, but I can't get it to work. It keeps telling me it's caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. I took a screencap of the crash message. Can anyone help me?

Make sure your computer matches the requierments needed to run the game and if it does update the drivers for the graphics card. See the troubleshooting threads at the top of the technical support section for detailed help.

Same problem here, running Windows 8 Release Preview, with Intel 3570K, 8GB of RAM and ATI 4870. Should be more than enough for the game. Running the newest drivers as well.

Installed by Steam, by the way. I already tried running the game from the folder as administrator, along with the launcher, but that had no effect.

I'm pretty sure that Amnesia doesn't support Windows 8.

And this is revelant how? If you can fix OPs problem you can probably fix mine, and he isn't running Win8.
