Amnesia Isn't Working

I do not know if this topic has already been covered, so I'm posting this anyway,
I'm am pretty new to this and I really, really wanted to buy Amnesia! So I did.
I tried playing it (I adjusted the gramma and everything) But when I play it does the intro saying ;;
" I am Daniel blah, blah, blah" And then it goes to a screen that is basically just black, with a tiny, tiny
white light on it, my computer is a Acer, with Windows Seven (7), It is a laptop
I'd would really, really like help! I want to start playing this game as soon as possible ; ) I'm really excited!

Please, please, please help if you can, I'd like to get this working sometime tonight ; )

I'm sooo happy that I got to buy it and I can't play it due to this problem.

I just don't know what to dooo Angry

Attach hpl.log as said in the sticky guides. Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit?

I'm still new with this stuff, I need a bit of help ~ I just really want play Amneisa and was bummed out after buying it & Seeing that it won't work & I have absolutely no clue what the hell to do.
