Amnesia, Game freezes after loading

[color=black]I successfully installed
Amnesia: The Dark Descent via Steam. When I load the game, my computer freezes. NVIDIA GeForce 7150M graphics which has been
fully updated. Can I play the game on my system or not?
1. What operating system do you have? Also 32-bit or 64-bit? Vista 32-bit

2. Is it a laptop or a desktop? If a laptop, what model? HP Pavilion dv9700 Notebook PC

3. Attach us the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder
(at your topic).

attach (and not copy-paste) the entire HPL.log file first

How does copy-pasting the log to a .docx file makes a difference?

Click [Image: newreply.gif]

, go to Attachments and add a [Image: paperclip.gif]

New Attachment. To do that click Browse and go to Documents\Amnesia\Main folder. Select the file HPL.log.

We need the .log file, not a .docx

There is no file called HPL.log. The file called HPL I already attached and now I've attached the launcher log. There is no HPL.log.

From where did you copy the contents into the Docx document then?

We're going to need the hpl.log or we can't help you.

The file DOES exist, the game is made in such a way that whenever you run the game it creates one.

at last, disable any background programs like Antiviruses etc... and check for programs that might interfere as said in the troubleshooting guide
