Hey I just got this game and I have been experimenting with the settings but whenever I start a game the fps drops to zero and it's unplayable I know my specs aren't good but I didn't think I wouldn't even be able to run the game.

windows xp 32 bit
radeon x600
Pentium D 2.8 dual core
2 Gb of ram

Maybe, the game requires a minimum of X1000 to be played. Desktop cards are different from the laptop ones named the same way. You can try the latest drivers with the minimum settings but in general you won't have a nice experience with the game with such hardware.

I'm pretty sure it does. For starters my computer can't even start Amnesia but I play Penumbra (any of them) just fine

That post you linked was me on my older PC. Amnesia worked once I used the Omega Drivers for my X600, but what I said for FPS in that post was for the main story. In some custom stories, my FPS dropped down to 10.

The Penumbra games worked beautifully once I turned the Shader Quality down to Medium (the textures would bug out on High) at a nice playable framerate (never dropped below 40FPS I believe).

If you want the Omega Drivers for your card, I can PM them to you with instructions (if needed).

I've come to learn to not fear the living, nor the dead... But the monsters that hide in closets.
