Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO

My specs are Intel i5-3570k | Sapphire Vapor-X HD 7970 | 8 GB G.Skill Ripjaw X | Asus P8Z77-V Pro | Corsair 500R | Corsair HX750 | 1 TB Seagate HDD | 120 GB Intel 520 SSD (This was copy pasted, lol)

All running on Windows 7. The game ran fine a couple months ago but now it doesn't want to boot. Any help? Can't seem to find it in the stickies.

Re-install the game/check cache integrity on it if in Steam. Update the drivers for the graphics card. Post the hpl.log as requested in the stickies.

At first, I thought he was exaggerating with the "DIVIDE_BY_ZERO" part. But he has a screenshot of it and I couldn't help but laugh. I didn't think that was an actual error!

Yes, the AMD drivers are corrupted or old and thus buggy. They need to be repaired/updated.

Download the 13.3 beta3 drivers and it fixes. There was a problem in the autodetected ones that only affected opengl.

corrupted drivers again, do a clean reinstallation of the latest catalyst from AMD's website.

I am running the same card "Sapphire Vapor-X HD 7970" and had the same error. This set of drivers will fix the amd selected drivers problems. There was some incompatability with openGl in the 13.3 beta2 drivers that these new ones fix.

It's not corrupted drivers as such. Just badly made ones.

Amnesia should run straight off once you install 13.3 beta3 and restart.
