Amnesia Dark decent. Game wont start.
Was told to post this here by a helpful fellow on the steam users forum.

Make sure drivers are up-to-date by downloading the latest from amd.com. If it does not help, then to narrow down what could be wrong, try to run the game with a single graphics card and in a more common resolution.

Hi james, tried both methods and no success, still get the same error message of "could not load init file:the dark decent\launcher.exe", drivers are the very latest from amd (13.4)

Run a cache integrity check on the game in steam. If that does not help, try running the game executable directly from windows by going to the installation directory of steam. If that does not help try running the game (and possibly steam as well) as an administrator. If that does not help check the guides for more ideas.
