Poll: 1st or 3rd person?

Hey there,

I've been wondering if people prefer 1st person or 3rd person? I personally prefer 3rd person, but I'm interested in other people's opinions.
So tell me which, why and on which game/style you think it's better.

Generally first-person, but it depends entirely on how it's implemented. In some cases third-person works better than first-person and in others the opposite is true.

Depends on the game, I would never play crash in 1st, and I would never play HL in 3rd.

Depends on level design, but also on how you tell the story of the game, Do you want the player to understand the main character as if they were him, or do you want them to understand them as a friend would?

For some reason, I generally feel more connected with 3rd person in video game and in text.
