We are also fixing the missing xinput dll. While waiting installing directx should fix it

MSVCP100.dll comes with .net framework 4 I belive among many others

It should come with the Visual C++ Redist AFAIR.

These files were included now in my Steam folder and they actually prevent me from running the game until I remove them. I am not on a x86_64 system (still traditional 32bit). I guess the included files were for the 64 bit architecture (not sure as I just removed them first since I have these files already in a system path).

The included files are 32 bit, but we are investigating what the problem is. Could you try and see which of the dlls it is that you ahve to remove to make the game work? I suspect it is only the xinput dll and not the msvcp/r libs, can you please confirm?

Correction, both xinput AND the msvc?100.dll files (where ? is p or r) had to be removed.
