Game doesn't lauch (no error)

Hello, after deleting my profile in documents/Amnesia/Pig and the Amnesia folder, i can't launch the game any more, and i have no error.

I reinstalled the game and tried other things but it doesn't work and my Amnesia folder doesn't reappear ...

Can you help me ?

If I can provide anything tell me

You try to launch the game from within Steam? Or from the executable aamfp.exe in your SteamApps/common folder?

Pressing play inbsteam will show a popup to play the game. Also for me nothing happened after this, but trying to launch aamfp.exe manually did reveal some issues. This is discussed in other threads on this forum.

Arbies -> Well, i uninstalled via steam and deleted my folder, even the one in documents.

gbraad -> I try to lauch with steam but when I try to launch aamfp.exe, an error occures : "Impossible to start the program... XINPUT1_3.dll is not designed to run on Windows or has an error".

Maybe there can be a problem with the game files. So if you installed the game, can you find "Amnesia/Pigs/" folder in Recycle Bin? If you find it, try to put it into Documents so we can see if this'll work.

I don't have the Amnesia/Pig anymore but i'm gonna have it by a firend and try your solution in a few minutes.

EDIT : Ok, i tried to put back Amnesia/pig folder and it doesn't work, i have the same problem

This is so strange, you mean the game won't create a "Amnesia/Pigs" folder when you try to install, right?

So can you re-install the game until your friend send you the "Amnesia/Pigs/" folder? And don't forget to uninstall it via Steam.

The last update issued caused some dll problems for some users. They will be fixed with another update soon.

You should be able to work around the error for now by removing the xinput file in the game folder (found by right-clicking on the game in steam, properties, last tab and browse local files option).
