RE: Amnesia 3

I really do wonder...
I'll think about it a bit more before I put a story here, rather than something half-thought off the top of my head...

You will see me, and weep in cold fear...

RE: Amnesia 3

Would love some old school Amnesia with EQ and sanity, set in 13th century like the early alpha. Well that would be an interesting project Wink

La Caza has that covered. :p

Going further back in time could be an option - something in the 1700s?
Someone mentioned they wanted to see more of Agrippa and Weyer.
Only then it would have to be 1500s.

Amnesia in the middle ages would be great. A new castle with dark rooms and cellars etc. where the candle lights creates a very good feeling in better HPL3's graphics engine. Why not?

Amnesia by EA:

Where puzzles have been replaced with DLC, additional endings can also be purchased.

Except the 1500s is more Renaissance, but ok.

Not another castle.

The castle was boring.

Have it placed in a... I KNOW!

In a lovecraftian small town.

You'd start walking around and seeing normal sights (human npcs interacting with the player and each other, kids playing, bustling atmosphere, etc etc etc) and when night hits it turns sinister.

The protagonist could wander into a church, which then connects into a cave that has subtle signs of some otherworldly stuff. The cave connects to other landmarks in the town and to get deeper into the cave system you have to explore for alternate entries and exits using gear ( a la metroid). So it'd have a lot of backtracking and ''free form'' exploration.

Oh God. Someone steal my idea and make it happen.

Oh no, "free form" exploration and a ton of useless NPCs make it feel like an abandoned MMO. I hate NPCs.

A castle could be very great of details. Not just only a texture plane of a wall, which you will find in every room. A castle also could mean some outside locations and old ruins. Torture chambers etc. even better than all before. More rooms, more details, even better sounds and full of physics stuff. Everywhere are secrets to find out! Not just enter a room, pick up a note for reading and go out. A new Amnesia which felt more realistic and less game. This time I would prefer a better graphics engine.
